Matthew Stoeffler (Corvallis Cyclery employee since 1986)

Position:  Shop GM/Lead Bike Tech.  Also known as The bicycle whisperer and recumbent trike expert.  One hell of a bike mechanic!

Matthew has been working in a bike shop since 1975. He started working at Corvallis Cyclery in 1985. His favorite part of mechanic work is taking bikes that are wrecked and making them whole again.

Position: The maker of things that go round.

Bike Industry Background: Carl started working at the Cyclery in late August of 2003. Before that Carl went to United Bicycle Institute and got his certificate in bike mechanic magic and making bike frames. Carl’s deep knowledge of bikes allows him to masterfully work on bikes of all types.

Korey Jackson (2018-present)

Position: Sales floor extdroniare!

Favorite bike:  My BA Salsa Warroad!!!!

Favorite shop tool: Feedback’s mini ratcheting torque tool.

Industry background: After several years in academia and higher education Korey found himself looking and wanting something different.  Korey quickly turned to one of his greatest passions in life for some deep answers, cycling!! By the way of the bike wheel, Korey very rapidly found a home away from home at Corvallis Cyclery.   Korey started working part time in the late Spring of 2018. Ever since then he has been a wonderful addition to the staff.

Bike Industry Background: Third Generation bike shop owner, has been in a bike shop since before he could walk. UBI graduate.

Years at the Cyclery: John has worked in this family bike shop on and off most if his life. In the fall of 1988 Enriuqe and Kay Semadeni purchased the shop from the original owners who started the business in 1974.   John and his wife officially purchased Corvallis Cyclery form his parents late in 2011 and on January 1, 2012 they became the new and latest owners of the bike shop.
